The following is a summary of the other types of surveys that we offer.

The contents of a report will be dependent on the property, age, type and can be tailored to the clients specific requirements.

Survey reports are normally of a technical nature and further guidance should be sort to clarify any point within the report.

Types of Other Surveys

Defect Analysis

An inspection and investigation of a problem or defect within a property and providing technical opinion on the cause, providing recommendations for repairs where possible or further specialist investigation.

Photographic Schedules

A visual survey of a property to record the current condition and visual defects within a property by the means of photographs.

The report generally consists of a short written introduction, followed by a selection of photographs of the area surveyed highlighting any specific defects.

This type of report does not give any opinion on the cause of any defect or any recommendations.

They are suitable before undertaking repairs or improvement works adjacent to or to other owners' property, at commencement or end of a lease, party wall and boundary matters.

Condition Surveys

A visual survey of a property to record the current condition and visual defects within a property by the means of a written report

The report generally consists of a short written introduction, followed by a written report normally prepared in table format together with a selection of photographs.

This type of report does not give any opinion on the cause of any defect or any recommendations.

They are suitable before undertaking repairs or improvement works adjacent to or to other owners' property, at commencement or end of a lease, party wall and boundary matters.

Planned Maintenance Plans

A survey of a property or group of properties, providing a detailed report giving recommendations for essential, planned maintenance repairs and improvements over a set time scale with budget costings.

System Built Houses

We have experience on a wide range of system built, prefabricated housing, built as local authority housing. This includes the following house types, Wates, Airies, Cornish, Woolway, Remma, Hawsksley Shindler and Mytton.

These are generally built from pre cast reinforced concrete panels, columns etc. and are refereed to as PRC Housing.

Self Build Inspections

Undertake inspections during the construction process and providing a site inspection report of our observations

These are normally requested in addition to inspections required by the Local Authority as Part of Building Regulations approval and normally requested by a Lender as a condition of Mortgage.
